Position: Prep Cook

Job Summary:

Ambitious and skilled individuals that take extraordinary pride in their cooking craft make up Oakdale’s culinary team.  As a Prep Cook, you will be responsible for the preparation of ingredients and stations used in the cooking process, as well as maintaining the kitchen and ensuring it is clean and sanitized.

Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Follow the prep list created by chefs to plan duties
  • Prep mise en place and cook ingredients for a variety of salads, sandwiches, and other dishes required to service members in a timely fashion.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Culinary Certificate or Proven experience as a line cook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
