Job Summary:

Ambitious and skilled individuals that take extraordinary pride in their cooking craft make up Oakdale’s culinary team.  As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing consistent high quality and delicious meals according to menu. Oakdale’s restaurant offers membership’s favourite meal items that are staples on the menu with ongoing new recipes introduced weekly, offering new and exciting culinary delights for members and guests.
Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude. 

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare menu items accordingly and timely
  • Butchering and portioning meats, fish, and poultry
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Culinary Certificate or Proven experience as a line cook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work extended hours during busy periods
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
