Job Summary:
Greenskeepers perform daily golf course maintenance from early spring until late fall through manual labour and use of small hand-powered tools and large turf equipment. A successful Greenskeeper must be dependable, able to work early morning shifts (6 am starts), willing to learn and master a variety of diverse and physical landscaping tasks.
Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Mowing, Trimming, and edging
Lay sod, plant trees and seeding of turf
Maintain bunkers, changing of holes, general maintenance
Fuelling golf equipment
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
High school, College Degree, or equivalent
Organizational skills and attention to detail
Knowledge of landscape techniques and practices an asset
Operation knowledge of mowing equipment an asset
