Position: Banquet Cook

Job Summary:

Ambitious and skilled individuals that take extraordinary pride in their cooking craft make up Oakdale’s culinary team.  As a Banquet Cook, you will be preparing food for banquet events. The Club hosts various events, weddings, birthdays, member family theme events, and golf tournaments. The events can be comprised of breakfasts, luncheons, and dinners.

Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential.  Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude. 
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepare a variety of foods, meat, seafood, poultry, vegetable, and cold food items
  • Maintain consistent quality and presentation in all food preparation
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
  • Follow all food handling and safety regulations
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Culinary Certificate or Proven experience as a banquet cook
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work extended hours during busy periods.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment
