Position:  Supervisor
Location: North York, ON
Position Type: Seasonal / Part-Time

Job Summary:

The Restaurant Supervisor supports the Restaurant Manager in the leadership and support of the front of house service staff in all operations of the restaurant.  Supervisors communicate and coordinate with culinary staff for efficient and timely service operation.  Supervisors also address member service requests and concerns in a professional and timely manner to elevate the member culinary experience. 

Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude. 
Hours of Work:
  • Holidays, Monday-Friday and Weekend Availability Required.
*Note: This is a wage only position - no tipping policy
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and assign serving sections prior to start of service.
  • Ensure all team members are in proper uniform with required tools.
  • Conduct pre-shift briefing, inform staff of special requests, and event requirements. 
  • Assign opening, side and closing duties, ensuring completion in a timely fashion.
Knowledge, Skills, and Qualifications
  • Smart Serve Certificate
  • Previous experience is an asset (min. 1 year)
  • College or University education in Hospitality preferred.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Computer and POS (Point of Sale) experience an asset.
