Job Summary: The Golf Shop Attendant is the first point of contact in the Golf Shop located in the Golf Services department. The Golf Shop offers Members and Guests a variety of golf retail merchandise including clothing, golf equipment and accessories for purchase. Attendants are often called upon to provide a wide array of Club knowledge including, but not limited to; providing details of upcoming events, helping to book tee times, questions about merchandise, and other requests. Successful candidates will possess great attention to detail and be outgoing. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should be punctual and professional.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Members with purchases and merchandise information Process payments and conduct daily opening and closing cashier duties Attend to Golf Shop email, respond to Member inquiries promptly and accurately Clean and maintain order in golf shop (displays, storage, and front counter)
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications High school, College Degree, or equivalent Computer and point-of-sale knowledge Organizational skills and attention to detail Retail and Customer Service experience an asset Must be able to work without your cellphone Must be punctual
