Job Summary: The Golf Shop Attendant serves as a key point of contact within the Golf Services department, providing a welcoming and professional experience for Members and Guests. The Golf Shop offers a wide selection of golf apparel, equipment, and accessories, and attendants play an important role in assisting with retail purchases and inquiries. In addition to retail responsibilities, attendants are expected to have strong knowledge of club operations, including booking tee times, answering questions about upcoming events, and responding to general member requests. Successful candidates will be detail-oriented, outgoing, and professional, with a strong commitment to teamwork, punctuality, and delivering an elevated level of service.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: Assist Members with purchases and merchandise information. Process payments and conduct daily opening and closing cashier duties. Attend to Golf Shop email, respond to Member inquiries promptly and accurately. Clean and maintain order in golf shop (displays, storage, and front counter).
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications High school, College Degree, or equivalent Computer and point-of-sale knowledge Organizational skills and attention to detail Retail and Customer Service experience an asset Must be able to work without your cellphone Must be punctual
