Position: Security Guard
Location: North York, ON
Position Type: Seasonal / Part-time

Salary: $18.00 - $19.00/hr
Job Summary:

The Security Guard is the first point of contact for anyone entering the Club’s premises and therefore the first impression of the Club. It is imperative that the Security Guard is attentive and always informed about members and club operations. Security Guards, greet and screen members, guests, visitors, employees, and contractors in a polite and friendly manner to identify individual’s identity and reason for entering the Club. Security Guards also monitor the property through security camera system and physical patrols.

Excellent member experience and service is a primary objective. To deliver elevated levels of service, teamwork and cooperation with work peers is essential. Individuals should possess an enthusiastic and positive attitude.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet and identify individuals requesting entry to premises to allow entry.
  • Monitor indoor and outdoor premises through CCTV system and foot patrol.
  • Conduct opening & closing security duties.
  • Ensure all building entry points are secured, locked and building alarm activated.
Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications
  • Security Guard License
  • Strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Basic computer operating knowledge
  • Organizational skills and attention to detail
